Leap Into Learning with StoryTime at the Wauseon Public Library! Perfect for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers, Leap Into Learning combines Read, Write, Play, Talk, and Sing with Ohio's Early Development Standards--effectively bridging the educational gap between infancy and preschool.

Registration is required for the free monthly book. Drop-ins for StoryTime are always welcome!

Our next Adult Craft Night is another Thoughts In Vinyl craft, a Scarecrow! There is a $10 material cost due at the time of registration, and registration must be done in person at the library. The craft night is Thursday, September 18th at 5:30 pm, but please register no later than September 9th!

Our True Crime Discussion group meets once a month to dissect and analyze some of the eeriest cases… This month, we will be discussing the case of the Menendez Brothers. Participants are encouraged to research the case and bring their findings to the group for discussion. We will meet on Thursday, September 25th at 6 pm!

On Tuesday, October 7th at 6 pm, local author and cartoonist Steve Chernenkoff is returning to the library for another Meet the Author event! Join us for an all-ages night of humor and fun! Steve will have signed copies of his books available for purchase the night of the event.

In October, our Historical Book Club is discussing The Next Ship Home by Heather Webb. Copies of the book are available in regular, large print, and audio format at the library. Stop in and grab your copy today!

The Next Ship Home by Heather Webb explores the struggles of immigrants to find a new life in America, the corruption within the immigration system, and a profound female friendship that helps the women navigate the dark secrets and injustices of the era. 

The Wauseon Adult Writers club meets once a month at the library to workshop and write! This month's topic is Eulogy/Obituary.

Writers of all skill levels and genres are welcome to attend. Whether you are working towards publication or exploring a personal narrative, the Wauseon Adult Writers club is the perfect place to strengthen your craft!

On Thursday, October 23rd at 4:30 pm, it's time to Trick-or-Treat at the Wauseon Public Library with our Candy Parade Storytime!
