The Wauseon Public Library is a fine-free library! What does that mean? The only fines we charge now are on the late returns of our mobile hotspots and tablet hotspots, as well as if they are returned via our book drop. As a reminder, all hotspots must be returned at the circulation desk. Any fees prior to the adoption of this policy on September 18th, 2024 for late and overdue items have been waived and will no longer be applicable.

- Faxes : $1.00 up to 5 pages, $2.00 for 10 pages, $3.50 10-20 pages, additional pages $1.00 per 5 pages
- Scanning : free

- Books : 2 weeks : Fine Free unless item is lost or damaged
- Periodicals : 2 weeks : Fine Free unless item is lost or damaged
- Audio Books : 2 weeks : Fine Free unless item is lost or damaged
- Music CDs : 2 weeks : Fine Free unless item is lost or damaged
- DVDs / Blu-Rays : 2 weeks : Fine Free unless item is lost or damaged
- Hotspots & Tablets : 2 - 3 weeks : $1.00 / day (tablets $50 refundable deposit)
